Philosophy

Remodelings and additions to historic buildings are compared to new constructions usually compromises. In case there is quality in the existing building, this has to be valued, integrated in the planning process and if necessary has to be emphasized. Visions and central ideas are formulated and it is helpful, not hold on to existing structures too close, because this blocks possibly very good solutions.
Soulless buildings with expressionless facades have to be complete meaningful through effective architectonic actions, redesigned and reanimated. Only acting that way guarantees the acceptance of the future user........
